Open call for local artists
Tenterden Art Fair 2026
We’re delighted to invite applications for Opal Art Guild’s first exhibition at the newly refurbished Tenterden Town Hall, taking place 14–15 November 2026, with a Private View on the evening of Friday 13 November.
We welcome applications from both established and emerging artists working in 2D and 3D, and particularly encourage those who may be new to exhibiting.
Application deadline 6th September 2026.
Exhibition Spaces
Single 2D panel — £150
Approx. 8ft high × 4ft wide
Double 2D panel — £220
Approx. 8ft high × 8ft wide
3D exhibition space — £200
No commission is charged on sales, and artists take payment for their own work directly.
The majority of exhibited 2D work should be original artwork or limited-edition prints. Artists are also welcome to offer smaller, lower-priced pieces such as cards and prints alongside their main display.
Please note that AI-generated or AI-embellished artwork is not accepted.
Key Dates
Friday 13 November: Artist set-up from 9am; Private View 6–8pm
Saturday 14 November: Exhibition open 10am–6pm
Sunday 15 November: Exhibition open 10am–5pm, followed by take-down
Successful applicants will receive full information about set-up, displaying work, parking and access ahead of the exhibition.
New to exhibiting? Please don’t let that put you off applying. Our team will be on hand during set-up to offer help and advice where needed.
